Alissa Trotter and her staff at Human Bean in Warrenton have had a busy summer! Recently they held a food drive, and it was a big success! They raised almost two full barrels of food and over $200 for CCA Regional Food Bank. Thank you to Human Bean and all of their customers that donated food!
Human Bean’s next local contribution event is on Friday, October 18, and it’s Coffee for A Cure. Coffee for A Cure is a company-wide donation day in which they raise funds and awareness for local breast health centers and hospitals.
More women are diagnosed with breast cancer than any other type of cancer in the world (except for skin cancer). This year alone, an estimated 268,600 women in the U.S. will be diagnosed with invasive breast cancer, and an estimated 2,670 men in the United States will be diagnosed with breast cancer. Sadly, around 42,260 of those women will die, along with about 500 men. Human Bean wants to do their part to help find a cure. That’s why it’s donating every dollar from all drink and food sales on that day to Providence Seaside Hospital Foundation.
This week Human Bean is celebrating its first anniversary in Warrenton, and they invite you to join in the fun as they host a spirit week. They want to show their appreciation to all the fantastic people in the community.
