Warrenton- February 22, 2019 – TLC, a Division of Fibre Federal Credit Union will break ground in early spring on a new branch in Warrenton, OR. The branch will reside on the corner of Highway 101 and SE Ensign Lane, next to Wal-Mart. This 3,250 square foot location will serve credit union members with a two-lane remote view drive-up, a drive-up ATM, branch support offices for member privacy, and an open “teller pod” layout versus the more traditional teller counter concept. The credit union anticipates an opening date later in 2019.
Because TLC participates in the CO-OP Shared Branch Network, all branches and ATMs are open not only to TLC members, but to members of all credit unions who belong to CO-OP – a network that encompasses over 5,500 credit union branches and over 30,000 ATMs nationwide.
Longview, WA-based Fibre Federal Credit Union acquired TLC Federal Credit Union in 2015, and currently operates branches under the TLC brand in Astoria, Seaside, Tillamook, Lincoln City, and Newport. The new Warrenton location will be the sixth branch under the TLC name. Fibre Federal Credit Union also operates 9 branches and an operations center in Cowlitz County, WA and Rainier, OR.
TLC currently serves nearly 1,600 members in Warrenton and over 5,600 members in Clatsop County overall. The credit union has been an active supporter of several community non-profits, such as Clatsop CASA, Clatsop Animal Assistance, Seaside Providence Hospital Foundation, and Willapa Harbor Hospital Foundation. “Expanding our branch services to Warrenton is a natural fit for our credit union, since we are already serving so many Warrenton residents and playing an active role in the community. We look forward to becoming an even more involved community neighbor in the months and years ahead,” said Christopher Bradberry, President/CEO.
