Encore Dance Studio is proud to continue its annual community outreach program with the 3rd Toy Drive Dance Recital on Friday, December 15. This is not a ticketed event. It is requested that audience members donate a new unwrapped toy at the door. All toys collected are donated to Toys for Tots to be distributed to local children and families in need this holiday season.
The performance features a fun holiday themed mix of tiny to teen dancers of all experience levels. Plus, as a special treat, some Encore teachers jump on stage to perform a routine to Santa Baby! The Toy Drive Recital is sure to have something fun for all ages, Encore teaches a variety of dance genres including tap, hip hop, tumbling, ballet, jazz, lyrical, cheerleading, and more.
In addition to collecting toys during their recital, Encore has also stepped into the community for the last 20 years by spending four days traveling to retirement homes in Clatsop County, where the children perform their routines for the residents. The residents love the show and the children get to learn about giving back and participating in their community. It’s a wonderful experience for all involved.
Join us for a fun night of dance and holiday cheer, Friday December 15 at the Seaside Convention Center. Show time is 6:30pm and be sure to bring your new unwrapped toy to donate.
