L.I.T. provides a comfortable, supportive environment in the resource room second floor of Alder Hall on CCC Campus. Program Director Margaret Frimoth along with her assistant Rinda Johansen are available to answer questions and help with pre-registration. Students who commit to the program are assisted with decision making regarding educational options and career possibilities. The strengthening of personal goals is part of this learning process. The program is offered each year for  Fall, Winter, and Spring terms.

In exchange for commitment to this program, students who successfully complete the class will earn six college credits at no cost. Although these classes are FREE, they are graded and remain part of official college transcripts. While attending classes there may be additional costs required by L.I.T.  These may include GED testing, partial childcare, travel reimbursement, college application fees or admissions testing expenses.
