Death of Elderly Man Suspicious

The Clatsop County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the suspicious death of a 66-year-old man, Ronald Boudreau, who is a victim of a suspicious death. First responders responded to the Astoria Regional Airport where someone called and reported a deceased male at the residence.
According to the official press release, the county medical examiner determined that the circumstances at the scene were not consistent with a natural death, a specific cause of death is still being investigated, Marquis said.
The release also stated that the initial medical examination indicated that the man had likely been dead for several days, Maruis further stated that the state medical examiner will likely perform an autopsy in the next couple of days.
BREAKING NEWS:
Johns was arrested in Portland on Thursday and booked into the Multnomah County Jail on a county hold. He is facing the charge of murder in Clatsop County, along with an additional charge of fourth-degree assault involving a woman, according to court documents.
Deputies thanked “all of the citizens that provided valuable information that led to the arrest of Christopher Johns.”
