Big Changes in
Downtown Gearhart with
New “Pub” Style Gearhart Crossing
By Wendi LaRue-Agalzoff
A fresh look, a satisfying menu, and grocery staples can all be found at the newly renovated Gearhart Crossing. What was once Gearhart Grocery has been transformed into a venue able to cater to those looking for a sitdown meal, a full service deli, or just a gallon of milk on the way home.
Molly and Terry Lowenberg owned and operated Gearhart Grocery for 6 years before deciding to take the leap and expand to Gearhart Crossing. Molly was born and raised in Seaside, graduated from Seaside High School, and after a brief period away, came back to Seaside with Terry. Describing the menu as “high quality casual” a customer could expect pub favorites, burgers, sandwiches and more taken to the next level. Proud locals, they are sourcing local and organic products to offer a wide range of choices to satisfy special diets such as vegan, vegetarian, or gluten free.
The Lowenbergs and staff of Gearhart Crossing are hard at work in the final stages of construction, meal preparation, and final touches for their grand opening on March 18th! To learn more information and updates follow Gearhart Crossing on social media!
