WHS BOOSTERS TRYING TO MAKE DIFFERENCE IN
YOUNG PEOPLES LIVES
Boosters at Warrenton High School want to make a difference, so they are helping to raise money to help pay fees and expenses for kids that are not able to play without some assistance financially.
The cost to play a sport can run into 100’s of dollars with fees, shoes, uniforms and food expenses when traveling with the team to away games. Danielle Lagana, who has kids in Warrenton, is one of those spearheading the fundraising efforts to help others.
Lagana spoke of creating internships and mentorships within the community to help students succeed. She hopes the community will look for internship and mentorship opportunities for the students to participate in.
