Life on the Washington Peninsula

Long Beach has long been considered the hub of the Washington peninsula area.  Its core consists of great restaurants, arcades, souvenir stores, and one of the best bakery’s this side of the Rocky Mountains. Add to that miles and miles of wide open beaches that are easily navigated by both cars and on foot.  It’s a tourist delight.

Surrounding, Long Beach, are various small towns, Ilwaco, Seaview, Ocean Park, Chinook, Oysterville,  rich with history of Lewis and Clark and a fishing town culture.  Second hand stores that would make a beachcomber squeal with delight.

Restaurants, bed and breakfasts, hotels, art shops, horseback riding, sports fishing, clam digging, oysters, cranberry farms, go-cart racing, and golfing are just a few of the activities that can be found. There is no shortage of fun on the Washington peninsula..

The residents are a friendly bunch too.  Welcoming tourists year-round to share their beautiful beaches, light houses and great Washington state campgrounds.

Plan your vacation or just a fun day or two in and around the Washington Peninsula.  You won’t be disappointed. Visit https://funbeach.com/ to see what is happening!
