Alice was a longtime employee of Seaside Hospital, beginning as a nurse’s aide and retiring as ward clerk.

She was a member of Lighthouse Christian Church since 1950, the Ramona Rebekah Lodge, the Independent Order of Odd Fellows, and American Legion Auxiliary.

Alice was preceded in death by her parents; brothers Carl and Waldo Nelson; and sisters-inlaw Jane Nelson, Dorothy Nelson and Yvonne Combs White.
