Old Cannon Beach Grade School | Alarm

7:25pm Officers responded to a citizen report of an alarm sounding.   The building was secure.  Dispatch left a message for the responsible party.  Officers cleared.

Hemlock & Haystack Lane | Driving Under the Influence

11:59am DUI.  

Thursday, February 2

Hwy 101 and North Entrance | Driving Under the Influence

2:58am Female subject arrested for DUII with A blood alcohol level of 0.15% was provided.

200 Block North Hemlock| Assistance Rendered

4:58pm Officer responded to person in need of assistance.  Arrived to find an intoxicated female.  Gave a courtesy ride to her residence.

400 Holladay Block S | Assist Other Agency 

7:24pm Assisted Seaside Police Department with highly combative, intoxicated, female subject.  Subject was transported to Providence Seaside Hospital.  Second subject also transported to Providence Seaside Hospital due to high level of intoxication.

Wednesday, February 1

3100 Block S Hemlock | Assist Other Agency

2:11pm Responded to a report of a female who had been hit in the head by a crowbar.  Dispatch was initially unsure if it was a criminal issue or EMS issue.  Arrived and determined it was a construction accident and not criminal in nature.

11:55am Officer issued verbal warning to subject burning without a permit

1200 Block Pacific | Suspicious Circumstances

10:41am Complaint of a construction truck in the wrong driveway, then circling the area.  Company was called.  They had been given the wrong address by customer.  Nothing suspicious.

Beach | Traffic Complaint

7:03pm Possible intoxicated driver. Located vehicle and made contact with driver. Negative 12-31 advised of complaint.

Sunday, January 29

N Cannon View Point | Fugitive

12:42am During a traffic stop a male, 32 and female, 30 from Tillamook County were arrested for multiple warrants and probation detainer. 

100 Block E Jackson | Suspicious Circumstances

9:00am Report of possible unauthorized subject in vacant residence, as neighbors had recently seen light and chimney activity.  Officer checked the home, which was secure and gutted.  Officer did have contact with the home owner earlier in the week and he had been in town completing repairs on the home.

Hwy 101 Mile post 36 Suspicious Circumstances

7:05pm Officer observed a vehicle with a defective headlight, tail light and brake light traveling 61 MPH in 50 MPH zone.  Officer initiated a traffic stop.  Driver was placed under arrested for Driving While Under the Influence of Intoxicants.  Driver was processed at Seaside Police Department.  Driver was issued citations and released from custody. Officer Cleared
