On Wednesday, June 13, the new Warrenton Walmart Supercenter located at Highway 101 & SE Ensign Lane will open its doors to the community. The nearly 150,000 square-foot store is the first Walmart Supercenter to open on Oregon’s north coast to serve Clatsop County and the southern Washington coastal communities.
The day-long celebration will begin with a celebratory ribbon-cutting event, reusable bag giveaways, a golden ticket giveaway for two one-year membership passes to the Oregon Zoo, performances from local residents, and grant presentations to local community organization. Festivities include food trucks and will feature the store’s unique offerings, including Online Grocery Pickup with front door service. Additional store highlights include a state-of-the-art electronics department with interactive displays, the latest in apparel and jewelry, and merchandise pickup from Walmart.com.
