HEY GUUUYS! DON’T MISS OUT ON ALL THE FUN COMING UP THIS WEEKEND!

SEE WHATS HAPPENING JUNE 3RD AND 4TH….

Don’t Miss The Goonies and a New Video Release at Columbia Theater!

Goonies, Astorians, and tourists are all excited about next weekend’s big event at The Columbia Theater by Pier 11, across from Astoria Brewery! From June 2nd – 5th, you can see a special screening of The Goonies and watch the debut of a locally filmed video celebrating the popular movie!

Patrick McCormick is a Gonnies fan and the producer of the video. He has been writing music for over 40 years and loves visiting his Mom, who lives in Astoria. The town feels like home to him, his wife Shannon, and their four dogs, that are full-time RVers. He will never forget that he released his song “Another Day” on the same day that The Goonies debuted in theaters, so the film has always had a special place in his heart.

ANOTHER DAY WRITER/VIDEOGRAPHER/SINGER/ PATRICK MCCORMICK SPORTING A GOONIES TIE DYE CREATED BY LOCAL TIE DYE ARTIST KATIE LAMPING/ RUINEDFORORDINARY TIE DYES. GOONIES TIE-DYED T SHIRTS WILL BE ON SALE AT THE SHOWING SATURDAY AND SUNDAY. GRAB THEM WHILE THEY ARE HOT !

Patrick knows some big names in the music industry. When he mentioned the video to his friend Eddie “Fingers” Ojeda, guitarist for the band “Twisted Sister,” he agreed to play guitar for the video! Bruce Kulick of the band “Kiss” and “Grand Funk Railroad” encouraged Patrick to contact Bobbie Ferrari, an award-winning record producer, and engineer, to help with the project. Now it’s ready for release the weekend of June 2-5th!!

The folks at The Columbian Theater were originally told by Warner Bros there would be a blackout on theatrical showings of The Goonies during the summer, but they went to bat for Astoria and got special permission to play it for two weeks this summer! Show your support and gratitude by buying tickets for the show and viewing this highly-anticipated Goonies video! The video also features the Goonies Motorcycle Club (yes, you read that right!) and the current owners of the Goonies house! It was filmed on location at some of The Goonies’ famous sites, including the bowling alley and coffee shop. It’s a quirky fun video, much like the film. It will surely set the tone for a fun and memorable evening at The Columbian Theater. So, don’t miss it!

HEY GUYS….DON’T MISS IT !
