The Easter bunny is on his way and he has some very fun events planned throughout Clatsop County – from Cannon Beach to Astoria, you can find all sorts of fun both on land and even in the water! Starting Saturday, March 25, we have events for all ages, even the 21-and-over crowd, so be sure to check this list out.

Sea Ranch Resort 10th Annual Easter Bunny Egg Hunt

Annual Community Easter Egg Hunt

This free family-friendly Community Easter Egg Hunt is hosted by Sunset Empire Parks & Recreation and has something for everyone. Start with a visit from the Easter Bunny, followed by egg hunts broken up by age groups. With over 6,000 candy field eggs scattered throughout Broadway Field and Broadway Park, your kids will have a blast. Tentative start times are as follows:

0- to 2-years-old: Baskets & Adult help OK
3- to 4-years-old: Baskets OK
5- to 6-years-old: No Baskets allowed
7- to 8-years-old: No Baskets allowed
9- to 10-years-old: No Baskets allowed

This year, there is a special golden ticket in one of the eggs at each hunt, which entitles the holder to a special basket full of goodies.


Aquatic Treasure Dive

Then, head over to the Sunset Pool at 1:00 p.m. to dive into some more fun for just $2 with the Aquatic Treasure Dive. Two age groups (7- to 9-years-old and 10- to 17-years-old) are invited to hit the water for some aquatic Easter fun.


Tapiola Park Easter Egg Hunt

Thanks to the Rotary Club of Astoria, the Astoria Elks #180 and volunteer support, this Easter egg hunt is back on. 3,000 dyed hard-boiled eggs will be hidden for those with sharp eyes to find. These can be traded for prizes. There will also be balloon animals, face painting and games. The hunts will be split into age groups and start at 1:00 p.m.

They will be sampling a variety of wines, including local Northwest wines and wines from around the world that are perfect for Easter dinners. Bridgewater Bistro will be having an Easter Brunch on April 1, with Jennifer Goodenberger providing live piano music. You can see their brunch menu on their website. They are a great place to take visiting family from out of town, especially since they cater to dietary restrictions and allergies including vegan and gluten free.
